This Pasta Bolognese is the easiest meal that takes under 30 minutes. Its gluten free dairy free and super high in protein!
Pasta of choice
Grass Fed Ground Beef
Yellow Onion
Tomato Sauce
Basil
This recipe is great because you really don’t need that many ingredients. I like to keep frozen ground beef in the freezer and pasta and tomato sauce on hand in the pantry so that I can whip it up easily. I often times switch up the types of pasta that I use in this recipe. This time I used Palmini, which is a lower carb option using hearts of palm. Some other gluten free spaghetti noodles that I like are from Jovial which is made of brown rice and Banza which is made of chickpeas for extra protein.
I like to use Force of Nature ground beef in this recipe, but you can always change it up by using ground pork or veal or a combination of any of the three.
Any tomato sauce will do here. Just ensure that it is organic and doesn’t contain any extra oils or additives. I like the 365 organic tomato basil sauce that is simple in ingredients and at a lower price!
If you are in a time pinch, you can always leave out the onion and basil, but I think it really adds extra flavor!
This is a great recipe to meal prep and have on hand for lunches and dinners. If you make a double batch, it will last well for around 3 days in the fridge.
Feel free to add any extra toppings to change it up. Parmesan, red pepper flakes, parsley, or a drizzle of olive oil are great add ons.
I have added in chopped carrots and celery to the sauce and it also tastes great!
