Bacon Wrapped Green Beans with Coconut Sugar Glaze

Ingredients

  • 3 cans of whole green beans
  • 1 lb. organic bacon
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter melted
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  • Drain and rinse the green beans
  • Cut bacon strips in half
  • Wrap each 1/2 bacon strip around 8 green beans and lay side by side in a shallow glass baking dish
  • In a small bowl, make the glaze by whisking the melted butter and coconut sugar
  • Pour glaze evenly over the bacon wrapped green beans
  • Bake at 350 for 50 minutes until crispy
