This pumpkin protein smoothie is the perfect blend of cozy fall flavor and everyday nutrition. It’s thick, creamy, and naturally sweet—like dessert for breakfast, without the sugar crash. Made with banana, pumpkin purée, and vanilla protein powder, it delivers fiber, protein, and nutrients in every sip. The frozen cauliflower rice adds creaminess without altering the flavor, while pumpkin pie spice gives it that classic seasonal warmth. This smoothie is dairy-free, gluten-free, and high in protein, making it ideal for busy mornings or an afternoon snack.

Ingredients: Pumpkin Protein Smoothie

frozen banana
frozen cauliflower rice
ice
pumpkin purée
vanilla protein powder
pumpkin pie spice
unsweetened almond milk

I love using Bomb Protein in this recipe. It has clean ingredients, a light vanilla flavor, and a smooth texture that blends perfectly without chalkiness. Califia Farms Unsweetened Almond Milk adds creaminess without extra sugar or gums, keeping the smoothie light but rich. My favorite blender is the Vitamix, that gives the smoothie that extra-thick, milkshake-like texture and ensures everything blends super smooth, even the frozen cauliflower.

How to Make it

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting almond milk for your desired consistency.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
  4. Optional: top with unsweetened coconut yogurt, granola, and a sprinkle of cinnamon for texture and flavor.

Extra Tips

  • Use frozen ingredients for a thicker, milkshake-like texture.
  • Swap almond milk for any nut milk of your choice.
  • Add a spoonful of almond or cashew butter for extra healthy fats.
  • For more fiber, add a tablespoon of ground flax or chia seeds.
  • Start your blender on a low speed, then gradually increase to high—this helps everything blend evenly and prevents frozen ingredients from sticking.
